A Little About Me

I’m a wife, stay-at-home mom, and pastor’s wife, walking out faith in the middle of everyday life. I started this Christian womanhood blog to help women find joy in their calling. My life doesn’t look especially aesthetic or put-together. My home isn’t perfect, my routines aren’t flawless (hello, neurodivergent household!), and some days faith looks more like showing up than having all the right words.

Honestly? I’ve struggled to find my place alongside my husband in his ministry. It’s a place where I’ve felt pressure to appear strong, steady, and spiritually “together,” all while adjusting to the new, postpartum “me”.

Over time, I’ve learned that God isn’t asking for performance. He’s asking for presence. For honesty. For hearts that keep turning toward Him, even on the messy days.
Grace In The Ordinary was born out of that realization.

Why I Started This Christian Womanhood Blog

I started this blog because I longed for a place that held both deep faith and real life; a place where grace mattered more than appearances, and where women could be honest about, and receive encouragement for, Christian motherhood, ministry, and the quiet struggles that don’t always get talked about.

This isn’t a place for pretending.

It’s a place for rest.

For encouragement.

For remembering that God meets us right where we are.

My prayer is that when you leave this space, you feel a little less alone, a little more grounded, and gently reminded that you don’t have to earn God’s love – it’s already yours.

What You’ll Find Here

At Grace In The Ordinary, you’ll find:

  • Faith lived out in ordinary, everyday moments
  • Honest reflections on motherhood and family life
  • Encouragement for women connected to church and ministry
  • Gentle reminders of grace over perfection
  • Simple faith rhythms for busy, real lives
  • Nothing here is about doing more for God, only learning how to walk with Him in the life you’re already living.

In addition to writing here, I also create simple, faith-based printables for families and children through my Etsy shop, Gracehouse Printables.

This Space is For You if:

  • You love Jesus but feel tired or overwhelmed
  • You’ve felt pressure to live up to a certain image of Christian womanhood
  • You’re raising children while trying to stay rooted in faith
  • You want encouragement, not another checklist
  • You’re seeking a softer, grace-filled way of following Christ
